Rob Wilburn

Rob Wilburn's journey from Bethesda, Maryland, to the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, finds its roots in the picturesque town of Odessa, where he spent his formative years amidst the warm embrace of family and community. Growing up against the backdrop of Permian High School, the inspiration behind the iconic book "Friday Night Lights," his childhood was steeped in the rich tapestry of Texan culture and values.

From a tender age, he exhibited a natural inclination towards automobiles, a passion nurtured by his father, a college professor, and his brother. Weekends were spent in the family garage, engrossed in the intricacies of car mechanics, strengthening familial bonds and igniting his love for precision and craftsmanship. Concurrently, his mother's role as an ER/ICU nurse instilled in him the virtues of compassion and service, laying the foundation for his empathetic nature.

Raised in a close-knit community, Rob's upbringing was punctuated by shared experiences and neighborhood camaraderie. Church activities, block parties, and local events were integral to his childhood, fostering a sense of belonging and resilience that would serve him well in his future endeavors.

Transitioning to Texas A&M University, Rob pursued a degree in Industrial Distribution, where he flourished academically and socially. Beyond the classroom, he immersed himself in campus life, becoming an active member of the waterski team and the Aggie Wranglers Country Western Dance Team. These extracurricular pursuits gave him a sense of belonging, honing his leadership skills and enriching his collegiate experience.
